Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and structured style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures linked with controlled breath (pranayama) and drishti (gaze point), creating a flow of movement designed to build internal heat, strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. Originating from the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga is often considered a more physically demanding form of yoga, making it ideal for those seeking a challenging and transformative practice. The practice is built on a set series of postures, which are performed in a particular order, with each movement synchronized with breath.
